Our only shower, before.

Doesn't look too bad, eh?  What is not visible is the style of tub used; the tub was meant to be dropped into a nice, tiled deck, not set into an alcove with a shower surround.  The tub was therefore missing the lip around three sides that prevents water from flowing down the surround, over the sides of the tub and down through the walls.  Nertz.

We have been fending off the flow of water with ridiculous quantities of acrylic caulk.
