I repotted my oncidium ampliatum not too long ago.
It had the gigantic leaf before I repotted, but now I can see a new turtle shell starting to poke out of the base. It's still covered by two small leaves.
The new shell doesn't have the dark spots yet. I don't know when they will develop.
