Lace update

After a significant setback, the shawl has progressed.  I had to rip out half of my work, down to that red thread.

arg.

I also learned that lace shawls photograph better when held in front of (not reclining directly on) a white surface or window.

I am half done with the center rectangular panel.  After the rectangle is finished I need to knit a 2-inch wide boarder around the whole thing, then block it.
